005 - Using SpellingCity.com to support the learning of spellings

SpellingCity.com is a free website that allows users to create banks of words for children to learn. The website then generates a range of resources to support the learning of spellings, including handwriting worksheets, interactive games and teaching and testing modules. In this tutorial you will learn how to create an account, setup a wordlist and add a bank of words to that list. You will then learn how to create handwriting sheets, and how to use a selection of the games and activities within the classroom. Finally, you will learn how to link to your created list from your school website or class blog.
